This is not a test. Unless it is, and no one told me so I haven't revised, which means I'm going to fail. Thanks for that.

It's 2:45 am

Argh - I am awake. I'm not meant to be. I should be asleep.
Women's issues woke me over 1/2 hour ago and I am desperately trying to find some way of easing said issues so I can go back to sleep. Sometimes being a woman, being this woman in particular, sucks like a vacuum.

And I can't figure out how to comment on my own myspace site (ie to answer questions in the comments on the Subtext page). Does that make me a myspace dumbass? I think it does.

"Women's issues"...?

I meant to email someone at Subtext some feedback: I think it would be great to have a "letters to the editors" section at the main Subtext website, as well as perhaps a blog. This would keep people visiting your website where they can also buy the magazine -- you might sell more, and the website becomes more dynamic as well.

I don't think you should open a separate website online that is officially related to Subtext, as it decentralizes the magazine and you want as many "hits" as you can get at one site.

Melinda - believe me, it's better that I spare you the details! I'm feeling very sorry for myself and sore.

Anyway!
Good ideas re the Subtext site - I would love to have a letters section - but no one really sends us any letters! We've had some really nice feedback, but no arguments, questions etc. If/when we do start to get letters I want to either do something on the website with it, or have a letters page in the magazine.

The blog idea is a good one too - if only we had enough time to do it! Both the designer, assistant editor and myself work full time, volunteer and do the magazine. Just the mag alone runs us off our feet :o)
